I am a peaceable soul with an odd sense of humour (and have never thought that caring about something doesn't mean you can't joke about it) and a tendency to weird enthusiasms.

On friending: by all means. If you're going to friend me, it would be nice to have a comment and a 'hello' - after all, one of the points of LJ is to 'meet' new people - but I don't insist.
TL;DR: I go through phases where I put quite a lot of religious content up here, although to be honest, most of it falls into the categories of liturgical fangirling or snark (or links to interesting or mind-boggling stuff!. Personally, I am left-wing and a Christian of the type usually, if somewhat inaccurately, described as 'theologically conservative, socially liberal' (i.e., I will happily sign up to the creeds, but dislike fundamentalism and homophobia, and am pro-women priests; though I think the differentiation between 'theological' and 'social' is actually quite unsound - it's all a consequence of your theology, in the end). I tend to think of myself as broad church Anglican, but other people tend to think of me as nose-bleedingly high.
Be that as it may, people of all political or religious persuasions or none are welcome. All I ask is that you're polite to each other!
